Community Service Award Program – Within Our
Communities
NJBankers each year sponsors a Community Service Award Program to
both celebrate the community work of members and share those efforts
with representatives of New
Jersey’s governing bodies. Member banks
submit entries of their community service activities from the prior
year, which are compiled into a colorful book and presented to members
of the New
Jersey congressional delegation and the New
Jersey Legislature to demonstrate the active role the banking industry
plays through civic and charitable activities for the betterment of
communities throughout the state. Too often, legislators are unaware of
these significant contributions by our industry.
Members of the New Jersey Chapter of the Public Relations Society of
America review all entries and select those they deem worthy of special
recognition. Submission details for the 2010 program are now
