As we enter a new decade, all companies need 2020 vision when it comes to corporate governance and ethics.  Does your bank’s Code of Conduct contain provisions relating to political activity, gifts and entertainment and ethical interactions with government officials and employees? Now is the time to review your Code of Conduct and make sure that your bank is protected.

Not only is New Jersey home to a regulated-industry ban that prohibits banks from engaging in political activity, but New Jersey is also home to overlapping and varying pay-to-play restrictions and rules on interactions with government officials and employees. Although your bank is prohibited from making political contributions that does not mean that your officers, directors and employees are not politically active. In addition, if your bank provides (or is looking to provide) banking services to government entities, you need to understand the potential pitfalls that individual political contributions may have on your eligibility and the “Dos and Don’ts” of interacting with elected officials and government employees.

Event Cancellation and Refund Policy
The deadline to receive a refund for an event is two weeks (14 days) before the event.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline, but substitutions are welcome. 
Due to the cost of events, attendees who do not show at events and do not cancel their reservation two weeks or more prior to the event date will be invoiced.
