NJBankers Future Ready Internship Program provides specialized educational programming and unique opportunities for college students who are interested in pursuing a career in banking. Participants of the program will attend weekly webinars to learn key components of the banking industry, and will have the opportunity to network with one another, as well as bank CEOs and managing officers, at the in-person networking event.

Program Objectives
The Future Ready Internship Program is designed to further enhance banks internal internship programs and motivate interns to become the next generation of leaders at member institutions.

Program Structure
The Summer Internship Program will begin in June 2026 and conclude in August 2026. The program features: 
  • Webinar Series – NJBankers will host seven webinars on a variety of topics designed to educate interns on key elements of the banking industry. Webinars will be led  by NJBankers bank members.
  • In-Person Networking Event – Interns will attend a networking event where they will have the opportunity to network with bankers including bank CEOs.
