A critically important annual event for members of NJBankers is the American Bankers Association’s  Government Relations Summit held in Washington, DC. The program features participation by congressional leadership and key committee members, senior regulatory staff and representatives from the administration. In addition, NJBankers schedules meetings with members of the New Jersey congressional delegation. Our association can have an important impact on national policies given the prominent roles played by Senator Menendez and Representatives Garrett in financial services issues.   

The Government Relations Summit truly is your opportunity to "talk to power." Your involvement will help legislators understand who bankers really are, and what banks do for their constituents. Our message: Let bankers be bankers—an engine of economic growth and job creation in our communities.
