The Art of Negotiation
Wouldn’t it be a different world if everybody thought the way you did? Well don’t hold your breath! Yet how do you make the result of a negotiation a win-win for all. How do you prepare for a negotiation and not feel emotional and overwhelmed? Well find out! Dr. Susan Mach, communication trainer, coach and strategist will help you learn how.
It’s OK to say “No”
But do YOU say “No”? And HOW do you say “No”? Lauren Hammer, a top coach for professional and personal growth, will discuss engaging in difficult conversations and strategies, boundary setting, managing with discomfort, and the gift of “no” which allows others to learn and think for themselves.
What does unconscious bias do to the workplace?
We know that we must mitigate or entirely remove our biases in situations. But how? After all, we’re all human! The good news is that it can be done and conference speaker, Dr. Patti Ippoliti, will identify our unconscious biases and their implications on our professional and personal lives.
How do you make innovation thrive in your organization?
Find out! Joanne Ryder, EVP/CAO of Beneficial Bank, has been there, done that and has the T-shirt! Learn the three ways to drive the acceptance of innovation as a tool for excellence.
Is anyone ever an “overnight success?”
Morris Morrison, our Keynote, will engage you by describing his life’s challenges from being raised by his aunt and uncle after the death of his mother and father, who were into bad choices, and how he was left an orphan. Morris remained motivated and engaged and listening to his journey will move you to be the best you can be against any adversity – professional and personal. After his uplifting presentation, Morris will sign his book, Overnight Success.
Don’t forget your business cards!
Broaden your network outside your immediate team and make valuable connections at the Conference.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY: An opportunity for giving back to the community is as much a part of the conference as is the opportunity for professional development. This year, Marie Caliendo, Manager, Corporate and Foundation Relations, of Eva's Village, will discuss their mission to combat poverty by delivering services that provide both immediate relief and long-term solutions to individuals struggling with homelessness, mental and physical health issues, and the scourge of addiction.
Join the more than 500 women who have benefitted from the Women in Banking Conference. There’s room for all to gain knowledge, power and mentorship.
