The New Jersey Bankers Association, in partnership with Liberty Science Center, is pleased to host a discussion with John C. Williams, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, on Monday, December 15 from 10:30-11:30am at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City. The complimentary program is open to NJBankers members. Registration is required; space is limited. 

The event will bring together leaders from across New Jersey’s government, financial and business communities for an important conversation on our state’s economic growth and regional competitiveness.  President Williams will offer his insights on current economic conditions, followed by a moderated discussion.

Our members' participation will demonstrate the strength and engagement of New Jersey’s banking industry. We encourage you to attend and bring colleagues who would benefit from hearing directly from one of the nation’s leading economic policymakers.

John C. Williams is the president and chief executive officer of the New York Fed. In that capacity, he serves as the vice chair and a permanent voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee.

Before joining the New York Fed in 2018, Mr. Williams was the president and CEO of the San Francisco Fed, which he first joined in 2002 and subsequently served as research director. He began his career as an economist at the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors, and he has also served in roles at the White House Council of Economic Advisers and Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
